Lynne Golden
MS, OTR/L
Lynne Golden has 30 years of experience as a Pediatric Occupational Therapist, with a specific focus on early infant development. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from The University of Michigan and her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from The University of Indianapolis. She has worked on the neonatal intensive care (NICU), pediatric intensive care (PICU), and with the outpatient population.
Lynne is certified in the Bridging Technique™ and Tummy Time Method®. These techniques combined with her developmental expertise allow her to provide a stronger foundation for postural stability to promote optimal function in all areas of development.
Lynne is passionate about helping babies develop to their full potential by educating parents during the newborn stage and beyond in order to allow for ease in Tummy Time. She provides gentle hands on intervention to support individuals on their developmental path and believes change is possible at any age.
In her free time, Lynne enjoys spending time with her husband and four adult children, walking her Great Dane, exploring Chicago, and traveling.
Leslie Teng
PT, MPT
The heart of Leslie’s work is to help parents tune into their child’s movement and show them how they can encourage and enhance it. She is a pediatric physical therapist with more than 20 years of experience in a variety of settings. Her background includes working with patients at LaRabida Children’s Hospital, in school-based settings, and most recently in private practice providing assessment and treatment through the State of Illinois’ Early Intervention program for infants and young children from birth to age three.
Leslie earned a Bachelor of Science in biology from Tufts University and a Master of Physical Therapy from Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine. She is certified in Bridging® and the Tummy Time Method®.
Leslie has a passion for working with infants, young children and their families. In addition to providing hands-on assessment and treatment, she also uses a parent coaching model to leverage and strengthen the parent-child relationship and to empower parents with tools to help their children thrive. Leslie is invested in helping every child be fully present, comfortable and joyful in their movement, so they can develop to their full potential.
When not in the office, Leslie can be found spending time with her family, dancing, cooking, meditating, journaling, playing the piano, and hiking in nature with her dog.
Erika Blake
MOTR/L
Erika Blake is a certified and registered occupational therapist with over 25 years of experience. She is a graduate of the University of Michigan, with a bachelor of science in Kinesiology and Exercise Science. The Michigan native also holds a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from the Medical College of Ohio.
Erika is SIPT (Sensory Integration and Praxis Test) certified. She also holds a certification in Therapeutic Listening, the Alert Program, and is Floortime/DIR (Developmental, Individual Differences, Relationship-based model) trained. She has worked in many settings including treatment facilities for at risk children, school-based practice, and has spent the last 22 years in private practice. Erika is certified in the Bridging Technique™ and incorporates kinetic bridging principles in her assessment and treatment. Most recently, Erika has become certified in the TummyTime!® Method. The TummyTime!® Method guides the curriculum used in the Tummy Time Development classes.
Erika specializes in working with children from birth through the teenage years. Erika is passionate about supporting families from birth so that optimal health and development can be achieved. She uses a hands-on and parent coaching model to help parents and children learn how to co-regulate, allowing the parent-child relationship to be more attuned to one another. Helping parents to understand and recognize their child’s sensory, motor, and social-emotional needs leads to families achieving their fullest developmental potential.
When Erika is not working, she enjoys spending time with her 4 kids, taking bike rides, listening to music, reading, and traveling.
